AW Health Care is currently seeking an outpatient therapy manager to direct the overall function of outpatient rehabilitation services as well as develop, plan and execute continuing education programs in support of therapy services.
The Outpatient Therapy Manager will:
- Coordinate overall outpatient therapy operations, including: scheduling, record keeping, statistics, etc.
- Develop and implement a system of reviewing department charges
- Proactively manages department budget within established guidelines
- Fulfills all functions of a outpatient therapist as needed
- Interviews, hires, and manages the performance/development of department staff
- Lead performance improvement initiatives
- Oversees and ensures the development, implementation and delivery of high-quality educational programs appropriate to the needs of staff and the community. Coordinates staff and financial resources for efficient program delivery.
Highly qualified candidates will:
- Be a graduate of a Physical Therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Be Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the State of Missouri. Dual licensure in MO/IL is a plus.
- Have two (2) or more years of experience as a Physical Therapist (PT).
- Have previous management experience in an outpatient therapy setting.
